Four pilgrims have died of swine flu as they take part in this year's annual Mecca pilgrimage, Saudi officials say.
Three of the victims, a woman from Morocco and men from Sudan and India, were in their seventies.The fourth was a 17-year-old girl from Nigeria.
The Health Ministry said none of the four foreign victims had been vaccinated against the H1N1 virus.

People should continue to handwash irrespective of whatever difficulties they may be experience with water supplies due to the flooding crisis in order to prevent the spread of the swine flu, a public health expert has warned.
HSE South Public Health Director, Dr Elizabeth Keane said that it was important that people continue to either handwash or use wipes to prevent the spread of the illness which has to date claimed 16 lives in the Republic and 13 lives in the North.

Only students and employees at the 10 sites can be vaccinated.
Tulsa Public Schools announced Friday the dates of added H1N1 vaccine clinics for students and employees at 10 schools.
Pam Butler, director of health services for the school district, said the district is receiving shipments of vaccine from the state as well as from the Tulsa City-County Health Department.

Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that it had registered four deaths as a result of swine flu among pilgrims, pouring into the holy land to perform Hajj rituals, who had not conformed to regulations that call for vaccination against the disease.
Of the cases was a Sudanese national aged 75 years old, who began to show symptoms four days after his arrival, said the Saudi Health Ministry in a statement.
